COMPUTER NETWORKING
We have over a decade of experience in configuring networks with thousands of computers and building hundreds of redundant, fault tolerant servers. No matter what the size of your organization, our 5 Step common-sense approach to building local and wide area networks (LANs and WANs) addresses all your business IT needs. From the communications infrastructure to the end-user's desktop, we don't just install networks – we integrate them. Step 1: Infrastructure . We start by ensuring that your physical network wiring and infrastructure can withstand ever increasing bandwidth demands. From data cabling and hubs, to wireless access points, switches and routers, we use only state of the art "open" network components from leading vendors such as Cisco Systems. Step 2: Servers. Next, we leverage Microsoft's Windows Server 2003 or Small Business Server 2003 technologies to provide the basis of your organization's local area network and corporate intranet. We provide a "turn-key" solution starting with a server hardware platform from a leading supplier such as Dell, IBM or Hewlett Packard. We can furnish all necessary hardware and software and will recommend essential peripherals such as network back-up and power protection. Our experience with integrating Microsoft technologies is unsurpassed and of course, we integrate and test it all. Step 3: Business Applications. Then, we expertly lay selected business applications to provide your organization the power it needs to succeed including: Network file and printing services, Electronic mail, Web applications, Content management applications, Remote access (VPN), Network backup, Network anti-virus, Network fax, Accounting applications, Database servers, Security services, Groupware and collaboration software, Point of Sale (POS). Step 4: Desktop Workstations. We also review and if necessary recommend upgrading or replacing your existing desktop workstations to work with Windows XP Professional. We provide your employees a "common desktop" by integrating your business applications such as Microsoft Office 2003, client applications (e.g., e-mail, anti-virus) and user login profiles to provide both flexibility and security on each workstation. And we'll make sure that all your non-PC (e.g., Mac)workstations work together as well. Step 5: Ongoing Support. Finally, we provide the training and ongoing technical support you need to keep your network running smoothly. We also offer additional information technology services including network monitoring, connectivity enterprise and consulting services. |
